Dear Joyce What a beautiful day we had yesterday — everything came together so wonderfully, and I think it all went exceptionally well. Everything was simply lovely. I truly appreciated the flowers, the setup, the atmosphere, and of course, the people… but the food was absolutely outstanding! The doughnuts were irresistible — I think I had three! 😊 I even overheard my niece excitedly calling her brother to ask if he had tasted the carrot cake. And there were people talking about the delicious “begrafnis broodjies” as well. I must admit, I even had a samosa — which says a lot, because I normally don’t eat them — but yours were on a completely different level! You really went above and beyond to prepare such exceptional food, and I felt very proud of you. Even the serviettes were a beautiful touch — more elegant than I expected. Thank you, dear Joyce.
